Football Spectator Rules Update
I want to thank all of you for your continued support and commitment to both our students and our school. It has been an exciting season, and the enthusiasm from our fans, both near and far, has been truly remarkable.
I am writing to inform you of a recent decision regarding our attendance policy for football games. After careful consideration, we are adjusting our current attendance restrictions to allow more fans to attend and cheer on our student-athletes. We understand the importance of community and student support, and we want as many of you as possible to experience the energy and excitement of game day.
However, safety remains our top priority. In making this change, we are committed to maintaining a safe environment for all attendees, staff, and students. As such, this will be the attendance policy for this Friday’s home game against Livonia Franklin:
John Glenn Students
Tickets will available for Juniors and Seniors only
Juniors and Seniors must have zero suspensions to purchase a ticket (includes both ISS and OSS)
Tickets will be on sale during lunches on Wednesday, October 16 and Thursday, October 17 only.
Students' names who are eligible will be on a list during lunch ticket sales.
Students will purchase a ticket through GoFan and also receive a paper ticket for the game. No Cash.
Students will be required to present the paper ticket, school ID and online ticket to enter the game.
Students will enter through a special students only entrance located near the main gate
General admission, non-students
Tickets will be available though GoFan for anybody over the age of 18.
If under the age of 18 you must be a John Glenn student and meet the criteria listed above.
Any student under the age of 18 who is not a John Glenn student must be accompanied by an adult.
Ticket Purchase: All guests listed must purchase a ticket through GoFan, or have a KLAA or family pass and present a photo ID at the entrance. No tickets sold at the gate!
Spectator Restrictions: Ticket sales will be open on Wednesday at 9:00 am and closed on Friday at 9:00 am.
We are excited to open our gates to more fans, and we appreciate your cooperation in ensuring these games remain fun and safe for everyone. Your support makes all the difference to our students, and we are grateful for your understanding as we navigate these adjustments.
Thank you for your continued commitment to our school community. We look forward to seeing you at the next game this Friday at 7pm, where together, we can celebrate our team's hard work and dedication!
