I hope this letter finds you well. We are excited to announce that our Virtual Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 5-8pm and Thursday, Oct. 10 from 2:30-5:30pm. Conferences will once again be virtual this year. These conferences are an important opportunity to discuss your child’s progress, celebrate successes, and address any concerns you may have as we work together to support their educational journey.

VIRTUAL EVENT: 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2024
The presentation will cover the basics of eating and feeding disorders affecting adolescents and athletes including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, ARFID, and RED-S. Topics include the common warning signs of disordered eating and exercise, how caregivers and coaches can find support for loved ones, tips on how to intervene, and how to increase protective factors around athletes' body image. Discussion will also include eating, exercise, and nutrition myths and provide books, websites, and support group resources

I hope this letter finds you and your family well. I am excited to share that we’ve had a fantastic start to the school year here at John Glenn, and I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child's education.
From the very first day, the energy and enthusiasm from both our students and staff have been truly inspiring. It’s been wonderful to see students settling into their routines, building new friendships, and engaging deeply with their learning. The collaborative spirit that is so central to our school community is alive and thriving!
We are excited to welcome everyone back for our first day of school tomorrow! Please take note of the following reminders and updates:
- Tuesday 1/2 day (dismissal 10:18), Wednesday full day, Thursday full day, no school Friday or Monday
- Student drop off: When dropping off your student, please follow the map below. Students will only be allowed to enter through the main entrance this year. Please pull all the way forward in the right lane along the curb. The left lane is for moving vehicles only. Promptly drop off our your student and continue to the exit.
Welcome back to the new school year at John Glenn. I hope this letter finds you all well-rested and excited for the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead. As we embark on this academic year, I want to extend a warm welcome to our returning students and families, as well as to those who are joining us for the first time. Our dedicated staff has been working diligently over the summer to prepare an engaging and enriching learning environment that will support every student’s growth and success.
This weekend we have the honor of watching the Class of 2024 graduate and walk across the stage. We want to wish all of our seniors and their families congratulations and good luck as they begin the next chapter of their life. CONGRATULATIONS CLASS OF 2024!!!!!
