What does the PTA Do?

The Parent Teacher Association, founded in 1897, believes that the education of children is a shared responsibility of the home and the school. PTA works to benefit children and to support parents. The Hamilton PTA works very hard to bring a variety of fun family events to our community as well as provide funding for a multitude of educational activities within our school. These events range from Family Fun Night in September to the carnival in June, with dozens of other events scheduled in between. We hope you'll join our PTA team!

Joining the Hamilton Elementary PTA

At Hamilton, your $7.00 membership dues ensure your right to vote at Hamilton PTA meetings and support your child's education. When you join Hamilton PTA, you also become a member of your Michigan PTA and the National PTA - all working together to ensure that every child has an opportunity to learn and to be successful in school and in life.

Volunteers Needed!

The PTA is looking for volunteers to help make this school year successful for the Hamilton Super Star Students! Please look for future mailings regarding individual events. Any amount of volunteer time is beneficial to our students. If you have any questions about any PTA sponsored event, please contact any PTA board member for more information.
