End of Emergency Connectivity Fund Grant and iPad Collection,

As you may know, our schools have been fortunate to receive funding through the Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF), a grant that has allowed us to provide iPads with cellular service to elementary students for educational purposes.
The Wayne-Westland Wrap Up

With less than two months left in the school year, our students are still learning, growing, and thriving. As our high school seniors prepare to conclude their K-12 experience with cherished traditions and celebrations, we look forward to welcoming a new group of Young 5s and kindergarten students next fall. The Engineering Society of Detroit’s Boys in Engineering Academy (BEA) program is a transformative space that empowers primarily boys of color, historically marginalized in STEM fields, to live their best lives. BEA is unique as it focuses on the whole person by integrating STEM learning with a student-centered, hands-on, and project-based approach. BEA scholars are provided access to powerful STEM learning experiences that challenge them to think deeply and critically. As STEM learners, they are empowered to use STEM as a tool for personal and social change.
