The district is experiencing phone outages, including all incoming and outgoing calls. Please email info@wwcsd.net with any immediate needs. If reporting an absence, be sure to include your child’s name, school, and reason for the absence in the email.

Reminder: Election Day is Tuesday, November 5, 2024!
There is no school for Wayne-Westland students. We encourage everyone to exercise their right to vote. There are two important ballot initiatives affecting our schools:
📌 Replacement Operating Millage Proposal
This proposal restores the district’s non-homestead operating millage to 18 mills for 20 years (2024-2043), with a 3-mill "cushion" to maintain funding stability because of Headlee rollbacks The district will never levy more than the 18 mills that had been previously approved by the taxpayers.📌 Wayne County Regional Enhancement Millage
A renewal (not a tax increase) of less than two mills each year for six years starting in 2028. This supports career-technical programs, safety, and tech upgrades for a secure, future-focused learning environment.
There is no increase for residential homeowners for either ballot initiative.

Due to predicted hazardous weather conditions tomorrow morning, including icy roads, Wayne-Westland Community Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
Champions Before and After School will be open at Stevenson Middle School for all registered Champions families.
Tomorrow afternoon, there will be an additional communication from high school athletic directors regarding the status of high school sports.
Due to anticipated inclement weather, Wayne-Westland Community Schools will be closed on Friday, January 19, 2024.
- Athletic directors will send additional communication regarding the status of high school sporting events.
- Champions Before-and After-School Program will be open for registered families and will occur at Stevenson Middle School.
