Taft- Galloway September Newsletter
A Message from Brandon C. Cox - Principal
Dear Taft- Galloway Families,
I hope this newsletter finds you well as we settle into the new school year. I'm thrilled to report that our start has been nothing short of exceptional!
Our Amazing Students
Our students have hit the ground running, showing incredible enthusiasm and dedication to their studies. Their eagerness to learn and willingness to put forth their best effort has set a positive tone for the entire school community.
Our Dedicated Teachers
I can't say enough about our outstanding faculty. Their thorough preparation and passion for teaching have created engaging learning environments in every classroom. The energy and creativity they bring to their lessons are truly inspiring.
A Big Thank You to Parents
Last but certainly not least, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all our parents and guardians. Your cooperation with our parking lot procedures has made a world of difference in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our drop-off and pick-up times. Your support in this area has allowed us to focus more of our energy on what matters most - educating your children.
The combination of our students' enthusiasm, our teachers' preparedness, and your cooperation has created a perfect storm of success as we begin this new academic year. I'm excited to see what we can achieve together in the months ahead.
Taft Mural
I'm excited to share some wonderful news with you all today! Our school is getting a brand new "Taft-Tiger" mural that will be a permanent fixture in our school community.
All of our students will have the opportunity to put their handprint on the mural, representing their contribution to our amazing school. This collaborative effort will create a beautiful and meaningful work of art that embodies the spirit of Taft-Galloway.
I can't wait to see the final product and have our students' vibrant personalities shine through on the walls of our school. This mural will be a true staple that celebrates the diversity and unity of our school community.
No School
In other news, just a friendly reminder that Wednesday, September 25th is a Professional Development day for our staff, so there will be NO SCHOOL for students that day.
Testing
We are also gearing up for the first round of NWEA testing. This assessment helps us understand each student's strengths and areas for growth so we can provide the best possible support. Please encourage your child to put forth their best effort.
I'm looking forward to an incredible year filled with student success and community pride. As always, please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
