Vision Fair Foundation Scholarship
The value of the Vision Fair Foundation (VFF) scholarship is $4,000. One thousand dollars ($1,000) will be distributed for four years provided the student maintains a 2.8 or higher grade point average in each year in which he/she is pursuing a degree. Other scholarship awards will be given to outstanding students who have applied for the Vision Fair Foundation.

Future medical students are encouraged to apply to the Dr. Erik Goluboff Scholarship for Future Doctors. $1,000 will be awarded to a single student studying diligently on the road to become a doctor. For this contest, a short essay is required and the winner of the contest is chosen based on the content in the essay.
Dr. Erik Goluboff is a Medical Doctor and Urologist based in New York. He wants to help the next generation of medical doctors in the United States, and would like to give back through the “Dr Erik Goluboff Scholarship for Future Doctors”. This scholarship is available for students in the United States who are currently enrolled in a University or High School, and have plans to attend a University. The scholarship is meant to help a deserving student with scholarship funding who wishes to become a medical doctor.
Here is some brief information about our scholarship:
- Award of $1,000 to a Single Student
- Deadline for this scholarship is June 15, 2023
- A winner will be announced by July 15, 2023

- Up to $2,750 if they attend a Michigan community college, per year
- Up to $5,500 if they attend a Michigan public university, per year
- Up to $4,000 if they attend a Michigan private college or university, per year
Students will be eligible if their family demonstrates financial need* when they complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
*Financial need is defined as an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $25,000 or less.

Eligible first-year students have the opportunity to attend Eastern tuition free! If you are Pell Grant eligible and have at least a 3.0 GPA, the EFOS will cover your full tuition.
To qualify for the Education First Opportunity Scholarship (EFOS), there are two criteria that must be met:
- High School GPA of 3.0 or Higher
- Qualify for a Federal Pell Grant (Qualify for the Pell Grant by filing the FAFSA)

Apply for the Blue Devil Wayne-Westland Scholars Program
The Blue Devil Wayne-Westland Scholars program will provide scholarships to 50 Wayne-Westland students from the district’s two high schools, John Glenn High School and Wayne Memorial High School, as well as our William D. Ford Career-Technical Center. Each scholarship is worth $80,000.
