Our Center maintained ongoing industry partnerships and held advisory meetings with partners from all 23 CTC programs.

An I-Save Student Committee was formed in October.

An I-Save Poster Contest was held in October with students, staff and visitors voting on their favorite poster. In addition to being on display at the Center for 1 month, the posters were showcased at the Wayne-Westland Board of Education.

In addition to saving energy, the Student I-Save Committee started "WDFCTC Recycle Thursday" and collected paper and plastic every week.

Recycling bins, 2 solar panels, wind energy and solar water heating books, and air velocity meters were purchased with the I-Save start up money.

The District had the Graphic Design program reproduce 3 of the posters for next year's I-Save program to be given to schools to post.

161 community business partners and staff attended the November Advisory Committee dinner prepared and served by Culinary Arts students, followed by program meetings.

The Auto Body Repair and Automotive Technology programs maintained their National Certification status through the NATEF certifying council.
