Section 504

Wayne-Westland Community Schools maintains Section 504 services for eligible students. Staff typically works with students and parents in making reasonable accommodations designed to promote student success. Occasionally there are differences regarding the level of intervention needed for students to meet the expectations of parents and staff. Each building has a Section 504 team trained to determine eligibility and to develop accommodation plans for implementation as appropriate.
