The Wayne - Westland Community Schools’ Special Education Services Department, in cooperation with parents and the community will identify the special needs, make accommodations to meet those needs, and modify the instructional program so that students with disabilities can access and benefit from a free appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment.
The Wayne-Westland Community School District has implemented a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) delivery system model for special education services.
Please go to the "Grade Levels" menu (on the right) for specific descriptions of UDL program design in Wayne-Westland or the "Resources" menu (on the right) to read articles about special education.
